Nutritional Therapy

What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition science promoting personalised optimum health.  As a registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I use a wide range of tools to assess and identify potential nutritional imbalances and understand how these may contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns.  This approach allows me to work with clients to address nutritional imbalances and help support the body to gain optimum health.

How does it work?

I will look at the all the different systems within the body:

Digestive – Nervous – Endocrine

Reproductive – Immune – Respiratory

Urinary - Cardiovascular – Musculoskeletal - Skin

Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine.  It is not only for those individuals looking to enhance their health and wellbeing but also for those with chronic conditions wishing to work with a Nutritional Therapist in collaboration with qualified healthcare professionals.

As a Practitioner I consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.  I will never recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice and always refer any client with ‘red flag’ symptoms to their GP.
